Christmas Party Hangover, 7 Tips for fast recovery.


Woke up feeling like someone hammering you in the head!
It's because your body telling you to restock on vitamins and re-hydrate after last night. (Hangovers are caused by dehydration coupled with chemicals in alcohol.) Here are ways to recovery and get back on track fast.

1. Drink water

Yes! Boring, but it works. Alcohol dehydrates the body which cause dizziness and nausea. Next time you're on a night out, drink a couple of glasses of water before you go to bed and alternate water with every alcoholic drink to replace lost fluid. You’ll wake up happier and healthier, guaranteed.







2. Avoid coffee!

That's right, You’re tired and can’t wait to sip on your morning coffee … but be careful it will only make you feel even more sorry for yourself! Coffee can make a hangover worse as it contains diuretic and causes dehydration.



3. Drink ginger tea

Home made ginger tea, shop up some ginger root put in a cup with hot water will powers up the immune system and settles the stomach. But watch out for store-bought ginger drinks, as they tend to be high in sugar.

4. Eat soup

What’s for lunch? The best thing you can do is eat Fresh soup. It is the most fluid-rich meal option around and will help rehydrate your body. Try a chicken (protein),vegetables (high in nutrition), noodle (carbo-hydrate) soup and other variety to cover more energy-boosting bases.

5. Eat eggs

Eggs are an effective hangover cure as they contain cysteine which helps break down acetaldehyde (one of the toxins that cause hangovers) but watch out for it high in cholesterol.



6. Snack on fruit

You probably want to reach for something greasy rather than fresh melon, but fruit will make you feel much better. Alcohol lowers your blood sugar level so to replenish your body by eating lots of fresh fruits and fruit juices.


7. Drink fresh fruit juice or smoothie 

Your head is throbbing … if only there was a quick way to boost up your energy that would make you feel better! Try juicing fresh fruits full of Vitamins & Minerals and many other strong antioxidant that can help to minimize the side-effects of heavy alcohol consumption.
